Urban food hall has finally arrived in Gurney paragon whereby we can mix and match our orders from few different brands such as Kirin Ichiban, Johnny Rockets, Quiznos Cafe, The Library & East meet West delights.

Johnny Rockets definitely comes with a price. The normal size burgers cost RM25.90 above. What you get is the huge size burger set which includes a salad/coleslaw, huge portion of fries and a beef/chicken burger with 150g of patties. Another famous item would be their milkshakes which cost RM16.90 and above.

Pumpkin Soup - Meh!

So far we've tried the chocolate milkshake and strawberry milkshake - they were very thick and really too sweet for my taste. Do try to share it as the portion is really big and the calories count is humongous! According to their website, the milkshakes alone scores more than 1000kcal! >.<|||

As for the burger set, we've tried the Rocket Single (normal & small). Surprisingly, the small burger (with 110g patty) is actually juicier than the normal size. But frankly speaking the patty was kind of dry if compared to Super Duper Burger in US (link). The burger set also scores more than 1000kcal calories! Oh dear! Do share it if you are trying to on diet!!!

The kids set there is a good choice for small eater as it's served with free drinks (eg. Iced lemon tea or other soda) and provides a decent size. We've tried the burger set, hotdog set & the grilled cheese set. The kids burger patty unfortunately is not the minced meat type like the adult burger. Hotdog is just normal but I kind of like the grilled cheese sandwich due to it's overpowering butter taste.. Hahaa.. I love butter! =p

Another brand with steep price - even higher than Johnny Rockets is Kirin Ichiban - it mainly serves alcohol but also serves sushi and maki. The price is really expensive for those so we've never ordered the food before. We did try the famous Kirin Frozen Beer as it seems to be so alluring. The verdict? The only thing special about it is iced blended texture beer on top. The beer underneath it is refreshing and all but definitely not worth the RM29 price tag with only 320ml. It tastes just like 1664 Kronenbourg Blanc in bottle (which I love!) so I guess I will go buy 1664 Kronenbourg Blanc instead for less than RM14. Or I might just go Ingolf (link) for their Paulaner draught beer at RM29 for 500ml.

If you are thinking the price in urban food hall is too steep, do not despair! We can always order sandwich or pizza from Quiznos Cafe! A 6 inches sandwich costs RM12.90 above whereby pizza is RM10.90 above. We tried the Classic Italian sandwich and it was scrumptious! Will definitely try their pizza next time.

As for The Library cafe, so far we've only tried the Bananatella waffle - it was nice and great to look it. We didn't try the 'East meet West' though - maybe next time!

The best part about the Urban Food Hall of course is the uplifting dancing every hour! You just feel enthusiastic automatically whenever the loud music comes on.
