Prelude: Planning & Itinerary
It was AirAsia zero fare promotion period back in March and we were wondering where to go. Osaka seemed to be a good destination as I’d never been to that area of Japan before. Thus we went through all the crazy AirAsia website traffic during the period to book ourselves 3 return tickets to Osaka. Of course it’s not ZERO FARE but at least it was promo price. Someone just couldn’t resist to bring his lover too thus it had to be during school holiday… *rolleyes*
We paid around RM2.4K for 3pax KUL-KIX which included:-
1) Seat selection for 3 in our to & fro journey
2) 1 x RM15 meal with food & drink in KUL->KIX
3) 1 x 20kg check-in luggage for KIX->KUL
After ‘careful’ consideration (more like a blindfold pick & choose =P), our itinerary consists of the following which basically is a clock-wise circle starting from Osaka->Hiroshima->Kyoto->Osaka. One thing we never considered during flight booking – it was still fall (Or should I say Autumn?) during the period so we would be able to enjoy the colorful leaves. Such serendipity! =)
