What’s for Lunch? – Ric Burger

Thinking about a juicy pork burger at work that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet? Well, if you are in Bayan Lepas area, fret no more! Just get your car and head to The One (Opposite D’Piazza) Ric Burger! Have you ever try the famous Oink Oink Burger in night market before? Apparently they are now opening a shop at The One here! Not sure why they didn’t name their shop Oink Oink though. I didn't realize it’s the same until my friend points it out and there is not stopping us from going there for a try.

The 1st time we went there, the place was so full of people queuing until we have to abandon our mission. Then finally we got the chance to try it on Wesak Day itself where everyone is on holiday but we are still working.

The lady there is really friendly and introduces the choices to us. A plain pork burger costs RM5 whereby additional ingredients can be added with extra costs (egg – RM1, cheese – RM1, Bacon – RM3, extra patty – RM3). You can also add RM3/RM3.50/RM4 to make it a full meal with homemade fries and drinks.

We ordered the Pork Burger with egg and cheese along with fries and lemonade which cost RM10 total. The burger was really tasty and juicy!!! Gosh, the patty was really crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside and tasted really fresh! There wasn't much sauce added to the burger but the patty itself made the burger scrumptious! Definitely authentic pork burger!!! The fries were cut straight from potato and not the typical frozen French fries as well. However, it does taste quite normal.

The Burger & Fries...
A Close Up at the Burger!!! Look at the Egg & Patty!!! *Drool*
This is HEAVEN!!!!
The only downside of the shop was it was quite small and the kitchen was not segregated thus the place can be oily and smoky in certain spot. Anyway, their burger is definitely TO DIE FOR!!! Don’t even hesitate! GO TRY THIS!!! If you are worry about the shop environment, just order take-away!!!

Ric Burger is located at Terrace+ the One – just opposite D’Piazza in Penang.
