Day 3: A Long Work Day
Since our office was located at Shin-Yokohama, we had to
take a Shinkansen from Shinagawa to Shin-Yokohama everyday for work. The train
was not as crowded as I thought it would be though – perhaps due to the more
expensive price?
We had lunch at a restaurant nearby the Shin-Yokohama
Station and I had the beef teppanyaki. The taste was nice and all but it was a
tad too salty for my taste.

After the long long day, I bought a Katsudon Bento (Pork
Cutlet topped with Egg) at the Shin-Yokohama station which only cost 530Yen and
ate it in hotel. Good news - there was the lovely Jacuzzi in my room. Bad news - it
was late so there was no adventure tonight. Love the Katsudon but the portion
was really too big even though it was the smallest available. Wasted!!! Did I
mention Japanese rice is AWESOME?

Day 4: Work & Play
Another early start in the office today but this time
managed to grab some nice Korean food in Cubic Plaza. The Bibimbap was amazing
and I couldn’t help myself to finish EVERYTHING. *facepalm* Bosses ordered the
Korean BBQ which looked great as well.

I finally managed to get back to the hotel when the sky
was still bright so I walked around the Garden right outside of The Prince
Sakura Tower. The Garden was really nice and out of my expectation.

I guess this is the consolation prize since there is no Sakura?
Selfie in front of the lake.. Yes, they have Lake too!
My journey continued to the South Exit of Shinagawa
Station. The South Exit looked completely different than the West Exit as there
were really lots of high-rise buildings there. There was also this Isetan
departmental store which sold alluring bentos right at the South Exit.
A lot of people in Shinagawa Station
OMG!!! Look at all these Bento in Isetan!
GOSH!!!! I WANT!!!
They are really ALLURING!!!
Sushi!
More Bentos!
I promise this is the last picture of Bento!
Well i lie! LOL!!!
I didn’t have a map so basically I walked out of the exit
and continued on straight. There were restaurants & high-rise office
buildings all the way. There was this park built around the Takahama canal where old
style boats were parked along with bridges too. Basically I just walked around
the canal to the right side to cross the bridge and continued on to TY Harbor. There was
when I found another bridge that connected to some nice buildings.

The sky was getting dark so I walked back to the West
Exit to get to the famous Shinatatsu – Alley of ramen & rice restaurants located
right beside Shinagawa Station. Just turn left at the West Exit and continue on
– it would be at your left. You would have to purchase a coupon at the machine
before going into the restaurant to claim your food. I finally bought a coupon
for Go-Go Curry and ate in the restaurant. It only cost 530 Yen for a big plate
of Japanese Curry Rice – this was the SMALLEST order by the way. *sweat* There was
also the noise whenever the train passed the station and we could hear it
clearly due to proximity – Nice experience!!!
