Voucher Food Hunt: Sweet Home Boutique

There are more and more theme restaurants in Penang – Sweet Home Boutique being one of them. I didn’t even know of its existence until I saw this voucher in Jackcow. Great move for introduction to potential customers. =)

The boutique is cute… really cute until I felt a bit over-age to step into it. *blush* I won’t pain you with my limited vocabulary to describe the decoration. Let’s see it yourself with the photos below.

 They only have very limited tables there (I think 3-4 tables) to serve customer. Second floor of the boutique is used to rent to small business seller to sell their products in tubes. Photos are not allowed there though.

One thing I realized about the set we bought from Jackcow was: it was not in the menu. This is one of the things I don’t like: Merchants selling items in vouchers claiming in certain prices but the item is not on menu. How do we know whether the price is as the merchant claims? They do have an afternoon tea set in their menu (RM18) but the items in there are different from the one we get from voucher. Anyway, since this voucher only costs RM10 so I forgive them. =)

The Menu

We were served with 2 cups of peach tea before our exquisite tea set. The set looked beautiful and I couldn't help but thinking it was like a version of the Fairytale tea set. There were 3 types of cookies – rose cookies, lavender cookies and I couldn't remember the 3^rd one. The French baquette was very crispy and tasty with mushroom & cheese. The cupcakes were topped with creams and common.  

Tea... Taste Sweet.
