We walked to the office in the industrial area every morning which took us about 10minutes to walk off the calories we’d consumed from the heavy breakfast. Work was going on as usual and we spent the 2 days in office having lunch at a nearby foodcourt eating German sausage & pork schnitzel. The food was actually not bad!

We had dinner with the sales team on Monday night in another local restaurant and this time we just had to order Paulaner – come on! We were in Germany! Hehehe.. I ordered the pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce and it tasted really great and I’m sure it’s doing wonders to my waistline too. *facepalm*

Tuesday was our last night in Germany thus we’d decided to get to Frankfurt again. This time there was no way in h3ll we were going to take a taxi! A German colleague told us that there was actually a S-Bahn train station (Langen-Flugsicherung) 5 minutes away from Steingenberger Hotel. The train station was a stark different from Japan train station was there were simply so empty with few people. We met a local German young guy who was going to Frankfurt as well and he was so nice to help us to buy the train ticket from the machine (there was no ticket booth or guard!!!! It only cost us EUR15 for a day ticket which we could use to take other public transport on the same day with a maximum group of 5 people!!! DARN!!! It was even cheaper than individual return ticket from Langen<->F rankfurt! So peeps, if you happen to be in Germany – just buy this ticket especially if you have a group of five!
Empty Station
Here is the Train
The train was really empty and there was even no conductor to check our tickets. Johan got off on the same station at Hauptwache like us and gave us some direction tips before going to meet his girlfriend. What a nice guy he is. =) The station was named after Hauptwache building – the most important police station between 1729-1731 in Frankfurt. It was just near to Zeil shopping street that we went on Saturday. We went into some of the mall before deciding to walk to Romerberg again to take some night picture. We were thinking to buy some souvenir but unfortunately all the shops were closed at 8pm! *facepalm*
Arriving in Frankfurt - i think this is the St. Catherine's Church near the Station
It's dark but this is actually Hauptwache - one a famous police station in old time

We did stumbled upon the Eschenheim Tower when we were food hunting. It was one of the 42 watchtowers built in 1428. We finally settled down in a restaurant nearby to have beer & burger outdoor.

Sammy has a seat?
Lunch onboard were either pork, chicken or fish and I choose the fish set which was passable. It was a 13hours++ flight and we were served some potato chips in the middle of the flight. Due to the time difference, we would be reaching Singapore on Thursday early morning so we should be getting some sleep but unfortunately jetlag got the best of me and I only managed to sleep for 1-2 hours during the whole flight. *sigh*
